>Was playing with some of my herbs, thought I would share some of the combos I use…

These herbs are good to grind up, and sprinkle on your charcoal disk. I use combinations of these herbs for consecrating crystals/gemstones as well as burning in the home to help cleanse out negative energies:
Valerian, Vervain, Sage, Rosemary,Anise & Hyssop are a combination I use often. I also usually add in Angelica root, even though it is more for exorcism, it has its place in the recipe when Im using it to clear out negative energies from the home.

Also used for purification is Thyme, Lemon Verbena, Lavender,  Chamomile, Fennel, Peppermint…. and Im sure there are others I have forgotten off the top of my head.

Sometimes I will take the Valerian, Vervain, Sage, Anise & Hyssop, and put them in a saucepan of water… adding a few cloves, a cinnamon stick or two or ground cinnamon to it, and sliced hand crushed lemon as well… (cinnamon is good for protection, and clove is used for exorcism)….. I keep it on a low heat and allow the scent to fill the house. This is a nice way to purify your space without breathing in smokey fumes (important when pregnant)

Its kind of a nice all in one fix

For prosperity, patchouli, basil, also cloves, cinnamon, mint, alfalfa, bergamot, woodruff, vervain.. (and so many more)

With any of these herbs, you can grind them to put on a charcoal disk, or put them in water to simmer (incorporating all elements.. water, earth (the herbs), fire (the stove) and air (the vapours). Or you can make a little satchet to carry around with you.

For protection, you could make an amulet or talisman of sorts and put it in your entrance way of your home to absorb negative energy or provide protection. Clove and Cinnamon, once again (hm ,they really are multipurpose AND smell great!) Angelica, Valerian, Vervain,  Lavender, Wormwood…  Or once again, you can simmer the herbs on low on the stove in water, or grind and burn on a charcoal disk.

Just some random thoughts for today…

Oh! I made some delicious cornbread muffins! Yum!
